Please go to facebook, the fast guys are hanging out there.
My page group is Crossline Racing Products.

Two paths to take.
AA/FC''s with Cobalt motors
AA/FC's with NEO motors in them
Both types are turning .390's now, but most still run .420 to .480 nearly all of them over 100 mph.
Cobalts are $300 plus new
Neos are $200 plus new.

Yesterday at Buena Park Raceway, Gary Lum was running a multi class heads up race.
He had been there all day and it was around midnight when he went outside with others to visit and probably get fresh air.
Gary collapsed in the parking lot and left this earth.  Many people are stunned and saddened today, Some of us knew he was not feeling so good recently, but had no idea this was about to happen.
Please send thoughts and prayers to his family and fellow racers.
He was literally surrounded by friends that loved him and respected him.
Even though l never met him I will miss him like a Brother as well as many other racers will miss him!

GodSpeed Gary Lum we will see you again!

xmod are stronger for sure, I would guess 1500 -/+
They are a mixture of polymer resin and neo powder then charged.  Some people call them polymer neos.

The limit on the edge is under .700 at over 80 mph.
This has been acheived at TOPSLOTS in a hardbody street outlaw
Oklahoma City in 2014
The edge is capable of .5's in the qtr. with a lexan body.

motor was a HOT VR open wind with supermagnetman 098 neos

Hawk 19 out of the pkg is terrible.  The stack polymer mags are 1200 gauss.  The proslot mags are gaussing 1700 to 2000.
Supermagnet man singles will gauss at 2100 to 2500 and run great.  They are $10 through me.  The group 19 arm is a very good piece usually.  Change the mags and GD brushes shortened to the right length with shunts and red springs.  This setup will get you mid .7's in a hardbody.

I am on facebook under Tim Crosslin and Crossline racing if you want to visit about this.

"What goes around comes around" to all of you.
We all have bad times and do stupid things!
Marty has done some nice things for me and I won't abandon the guy who kept me for a friend when most would have kicked me to the curb.

Proud to call Marty my friend because he is a good person at Heart!  He is just having a tough time right now.

To all the motor builders out there.
Recently it has been tough to get a hold of .030 arm spacers.
Today I received my stock order and Camen is making .035 spacers for arms.

Remember there are no bad ?'s, So ask away folks!
Steve B's reason is the most common one for Deep Staging, (DS).

To get a better reaction time by shortening the rollout or distance needed to activate the timers. This quickens your reaction times. You may have a lazy car that leaves slower than your others so you can deep stage to a point that equals your others cars reaction times. You might have a diecast or very heavy slow car, DS can relieve some of your worries at the line on reaction time. Most likely it is easier to adjust your car and not your brain in a racing situations. I have seen many bad lights in my own lane from not paying enough attention to which car and what power I was running. The main rule for DS in Bracket Racing is to run your time trials this way. If you do not, you may be lost on your dial-in first round. My results are usually .010 to .025 loss of ET while DS’ing, depending on the car. Some of you will say WOW that’s a bunch! You are right it is in heads up racing, but gaining .050 on the light can erase the ET loss in a hurry but that is mainly in class racing which will be explored later.

Instead of me blabbing about why I and what for.
You guys ask questions about deep staging that you want clarified?
I will try to answer and also give reasons why I deep stage.

I agree.  depends on the mag type somewhat too, the hotter winds may want to be a little tighter.

I recently took over the Newest and now the FASTEST! Track in Wichita Falls, Tx.
My AA/FC pig ran a .547 @ 89 mph with my ill fated 6 mag neos.
So I drug out my inline F/C that really has yet to be proven on how quick it can be, $10 WRP frame and DRS HD Camaro, with DD .400 x 1.040 tires.
Then I loaded it with an EX Street Outlaw motor that did not go quick enough, .770 at 65 I believe was the best for it.  A Mega Master 12 in an older proslot setup, with my thick single neos.  As per Marty the mm12 is equal to a 25 T / 26 G.  Air gap is about .035 per side.
The four good runs I have made witth it were . 668, .678, .660, .652 all between 83 and 87 MPH.
Not bad for $125 to build new!
THIS TRACK WILL ROCK SOME FAST RUNS WHEN IT IS TUNED IN!
