Hi guys....
It started out as bet, my buddy wanted to see if it was possible to run an out of the bag neo
in a dragster chassis and go .6 or better.
The car weighs 68 grams running 1 1/16 by 435 pro tracks, geared at 52/14.  It took several runs to figure out how this combination wanted to be glued.  It ran a best of .697 @ 52 and change mph.  I will work on the combination more and I know it can go quicker.  Will post more results later.

Pass 1: Out of the trailer; ran .781 don't recall mph; severe braid arching (burnt braids).
Pass 2: Readjusted wheelie bar; ran .753 don't recall mph; still some arching; 1 brunt braid.
Pass 3: Launched really good!; looks like it's on a real quick pass, at half track blew right rear tire (see photo); barrel rolled down the rest of the track. Got Cheers!; Looked like Hillary Will.
Will test again with some nose weight and a new set of tires.

Came up with this neat idea to prevent front wing/nose damage.

Hi Gary:
Thanks for the reply.
I will try a gear combo higher than the recommended 14/54 (3.86).
Maybe 15/56 (3.73), Is this still too low?
Thanks
Clyde

Got back into slot car drag racing to help out a friends son.  Son looses interest, and now guess who is up to their neck in slot cars.
Just got finish building a dragster(60gm) rtr and funny car(61gm) rtr they'll be running PS Neos and pencil hub tires.
Not sure which gearing I should be running, our track here on Maui is a 1000' on 14volts.
I keep hearing that a dragster can't run more than a 20, I will try to prove that wrong.
Well start testing next weekend.
Will post photos and results.
