getting over the hump (7's)

I've got 2 cars I built BPS drag racing slot car products frames....050 stainless, .072 stainless tubing, hard body, 116 grams each, with vr 20 raptor motors with shunts and bearings, one tall tire (1 3/16" x .435), the other short tire (1 1/16" x.435) frames come with different motor boxes to built short or tall, geared 14x54 short tire, and 14x56 tall tire.
The tall tire car runs .810@73 mph, and the short tire car at .826@ 64mph. 1/4 mile.  What else can I do to get these cars into the '7's?

Re: getting over the hump (7's)

You can try narrowing the tall tires by .020 or so, and see if that helps.
