Re: 1/43 racing????

007 sorry to say the thread ended due to lack of interest in the 1:43 scale racing, the was a guy (Fireside I think was his handle) that used to have a proxy race but he had health issues and stopped having those races.
Check with http://nitroslots.com and see if anyone there still runs those cars.

Re: 1/43 racing????

Thanks charley---But will pass on that web site....i've bin in this hobby for about 49years(thanks dad)

I use to work for one of the biggest HO dealers, met a of the people.  I know the good site from the bad

Ho is much different.than 1/43-48

HO to 1/43 its like 1/32 to 1/24
I also do an after school program where I use  HO cars ---so I'm always into it a bit

But thanks anyway
Happy Thanksgiving

Re: 1/43 racing????

Hmm, well let me see. First guess was the date of the registration and the user name. Most people would have assumed the same as I did, you were knew.  Second, the web site I mentioned caters a lot to the "proxy" style of racing which I see works pretty well since there aren't a lot of tracks of the HO scale. Third would be because 1/43 is pretty close to the HO scale.
Fourth would have been this is the "General Discussion" where it was posted and I was just trying to help a "new racer".http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/happy.png
