Any advice

I turned a unused walk in closet into my hobby room and the
question i had was do i need to do all my soldering outside
its a lead free solder 60/40 from radio shack. i did purchase honeywell
air purifier with hepa filter to run while soldering any input would
br greatly appreciated..i did a small test and it sucks all the smoke
in thru the hepa filter i also have some silver bearing lead free solder

Serious ?
Do you have a wife and how does she feel about the odor?

The small amount you solder in slot cars should not put you in danger IMO.

I have worked at soldering electronic boards for years IF you have a good filter and it draws the fumes away from you ,there should be no problems , remember to change filters every few chassis...Have fun and don't drop the Iron in you lap
