How to build a hard tail - also slip joint setup question

I have built a slip joint that I now will be able to try to make it run.  Have been reading on here about the hard tails and would like to build one.  Is there an article or pictures of the chasis and how to build one?

ON the slip joint how much weight and where would you put it to get started?

Thanks

Re: How to build a hard tail - also slip joint setup question

BUck the only picture of my hardtail is at this link:
http://bracket500.boardhost.com/viewtopic.php?id=2248

It's the upper chassis, I haven't done an article on it because there's
many variations of the hardtail chassis.

Weight on a S/J some start with 7-14 grams near the guide flag and either 7 or 14 grams on the plate, depends on motor you use.
