My A\FX

Altered wheelbase Pontiac Tempest body, JDS chassis, Proslot s16d. Mostly used parts. No runs on it yet. Still have to finish and add the motor fuel injector stacks, fenderwell headers. Lotsa fun to build!

Sounds good! Keigth already built and sold his, claims he's gonna build another. Ta Da has one, not a JDS chassis though. I plan on building another gasser so I'll have two. I know theres a guy named Jeff down towards Detroit that has some gassers that could be better described as "ART". http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/grin.png

Re: My A\FX

Anyone know what the wheelbase is for the Tempest?

Re: My A\FX

Sorry for the delay, lotsa racing this past Fri, Sat. My Tempest measures 3 3\4" center fenderwell to center fenderwell.  I built mine with with the front axle forward a bit, and the chassis is 3 7\8" center axle to center axle.

Re: My A\FX

It's run a 1/4 mile best of 12.67 at this point in time. Haven't had time to fiddle with gears, weight, etc.
Makes a real stable pass too, so I suspect it's pretty close to where it needs to be. Still needs the model motor added.
