64 Plymouth SS/A

Working on a replica of My Dad's old Nostalgia Super Stock 64 Plymouth Max Wedge car. Grafted the roof off of a Lindberg 64 Dodge sedan onto a 64 Plymouth Belvedere body. Lots of work but worth it, it's Dad's old car. He won a bunch of races with it. Just waiting on the decals so I can finish the paint.

That is awesome!  I love replica cars and even more so when it's a friend or family car!  Keep posting pics as you go along!

Thanks Gary. If I ever get my decals I'll be able to move forward with it.

Re: 64 Plymouth SS/A

Looks like a really clean build!

Thanks for the Pro Mod Camaro I got from you a month ago, it will be running low to mid .6's soon on a Gary Lum Frame!

Will the glass out of the 64 now fit it? That's a crazy amount of work but one very clean graft. You go skill'z.

Thanks Marty. I will be using the glass from the Dodge kit where I got the roof from. If it doesn't work I'll make lexan windows.

Awesome car

It is not always possible to be the best, but it is always possible to improve your own performance.

Re: 64 Plymouth SS/A

Thanks Bob. Dad sold the 1:1 car a while ago. Last I heard it was in Texas with a Hemi in it. Saw a video of it leaving the line with the front wheels way up there.

Re: 64 Plymouth SS/A

Darn ... sorry to here it's gone. Love those vintage class cars.

Did your Dad run that car at Englishtown back in the day?

He ran it in the early 2000's. Bought it as a bracket car with a 383 and we put a 426 max wedge in it after 1 season. Was an awesome car. Raced it at Atco and E'town alot with the East Coast Nostalgia Super Stocks. Won their season points championship in I think 2006 at 67 years old
